Speakers: Rebecca Battle-Bryant, Battle Plan Consulting

Date/Time: August 18,  2-3 pm EDT

Topic:  The Evolving Role of HR and Insurance Broker Partnership (1CE)

Speakers:   Rebecca Battle-Bryant, Battle Plan Consulting

Description: Human Resource professionals are challenged every day to add value to their organizations. Their role has changed from personnel management to a core strategic business partner in the C-Suite. So how does the insurance broker fit in? Benefits play an increasingly important role in retaining current workers, attracting top talent and remaining competitive in the competitive talent marketplace. The role of the benefits broker is transforming and brokering the coverage is becoming just a small piece of the picture. These developments have forced transactional brokers to reassess their role with clients. Join this interactive workshop to deep dive and gain insights into the HR world from a practitioner and learn how brokers can take a consultative approach to providing meaningful solutions for their HR clients. Additionally, creative best practices for broker partnership development and maintenance will be explored with workshop participants to encourage maximum engagement and peer-to-peer learning.

Cost**: $20 for SCAHU members/ $50 for non-members.

**If you previously registered and paid for the 2020 Symposium, there is no cost for you to attend and you will receive an email with log-in instructions.
